The 2018 season started off prosperously for the Newberry town dirt track as BAPS Motor Speedway reached an agreement with a nationally recognized company, Safety-Kleen, as the “Official Environmental Service Company of BAPS Motor Speedway.”
“This offseason we have worked hard to make the speedway safer for all of our fans, competitors and race teams, by bringing in a company like Safety-Kleen this allow us to take the next step in achieving those goals.” Gouse said. “Any time you can align yourself with corporate sponsorship and a great company, it’s a great thing for everyone”.
Safety-Kleen is used at many race tracks in the country as well as major sanctioning bodies such as NASCAR, INDY CAR, and NHRA series. With the addition of Safety-Kleen, BAPS Motor Speedway continues to add to their profile of corporate involvement in dirt track racing. Since the 2017 season concluded, they have added 3M, PPG, BAPS Paint as well as Sprint to multi-year deals, and show no signs of slowing down.
“Safety-Kleen is proud to be associated with BAPS Motor Speedway.” stated Drew Patey Director of Safety-Kleen Motorsports. “It is our goal to bring proper environmental practices to local tracks throughout the area, and BAPS Motor Speedway is doing everything to make sure their competitors have a safe and green facility at which to race.”
