BAPS HITS HOME RUN WITH NATIONAL NIGHT OUT.
YORK HAVEN, Pa.: A commitment to community outreach has been a staple of BAPS Motor Speedway and its management team over the last ten years.
Giving back and getting involved has increased in 2025. Thanks to its partnership with Newberrytown Police department, the township and Kolten Gouse and his team have put together a National Night out at BAPS Motor Speedway for the ninth straight year.
Since the first National Night Out which was held in 2017 in the front pit area of the speedway, the event has seen huge growth with over 60 plus vendors, live bands, fireworks, police and fire department demonstrations and nearly 4500 people attending the event yearly.
“We are just working together to expand this. It's a pretty cool feeling that this event has grown to what it is today and to be one of the biggest ones in york county says a lot about what we are doing at the track. “ Said General Manager Kolten Gouse.
“Hosting these community events has special meaning to us,” Gouse said. “It’s our way of saying, ‘Thank you,’ to the community and also trying to make it a better place for families to live. Thanks to the township and our staff at the speedway, we are meeting our goals of being a better community partner.” Said Gouse.
National Night Out continues to bring new people to the speedway and more importantly continues to grow the partnership with the community and the local businesses. Everyone from the National Night committee would like to thank all of the vendors, volunteers, businesses and everyone that came out to the event.
We look forward to seeing everyone in 2026.
