BAPS CO-PROMOTING TAKES CENTER STAGE:

Promoting is a tough job.. It's a job that has many layers to it and most of the time finds a promoter scratching his head to figure out what works and what does not. One of the toughest jobs in our sport is finding race tracks to agree on a common goal and more importantly working together.
Heading into the 2025 racing season one of the goals was to “break the ice” in regard to co-promoting with racetracks in the northeast and to leverage these relationships where everyone benefits.
Six racetracks got together under Gouse’s marketing leadership to put together a campaign of co-promoting events and advertisements during the 2025 racing season at their venues which included Bedford Speedway, Clinton County Speedway, Williams Grove Speedway, Lindas Speedway, Mcgrewbid Motoplex and Lernerville Speedway.
“There is no doubt that working together, co-promoting and having signage at each other racetracks is benefiting each other this year” Said Gouse. “We were able to have these conversations with these tracks and able to get a deal in place for 2025 and I know we have already talked to several other tracks about getting on board in this partnership for 2026. We are only stronger if we are all working together” Said Gouse
“All of the speedways in the area want what's best for PA racing, so anytime we can work together to promote the tracks is a good thing. Hopefully some advertising at our neighborhood speedways helps everyone out.” Said Promoter Joe Padula from Bedford Speedway.
Promoters face significant challenges including fierce competition for attention and sponsorships, budgetary constraints, managing event logistics and adapting to economic downturns that reduce fan spending. The hope is by creating a common message and cross-promoting will keep fans and teams wanting more.
“It’s great to be able to work with a fellow promoter like Kolten at BAPs. Both of our facilities offer great racing events that provide an entertainment opportunity for the entire family. Working on cross-promotions like trading advertising space, reminds fans of similar short-track racing located within a few hours of each other”. Said Clinton County Speedway promoter Jason McCarahan.
