Championship Preview

CHAMPIONSHIP PREVIEW:
A preview of Championship weekend is fast approaching all divisions for the 2025 racing season at BAPS Motor Speedway. All 6 major divisions at the speedway will crown championships this year, with several of the classes looking to crown their first champion ever.

GA SMITH TOWING SUPER SPORTSMAN:
The competitive Super Sportsman division has seen 8 different winners in 11 races this year with point leader Scott Dellinger leading the division with 3 victories. There are 3 races left in the season with championship night concluding on Saturday October 11, So far Scott Dellinger who just won the Super Sportsman 100 over second place finisher Jay Fannasy holds just a small point lead (55 points) over Fannasy. Scott Dellinger is looking for his 4th Track Championship and Jay Fannasy is looking for his first one.

RV 4 WHEEL DRIVE/DENK/SPECIALITY RIGGING/EMORY 410 SPRINT CARS
Much like the Super Sportsman Divisions, The 410 Sprint Cars have seen 4 different winners in 6 races this season, with Danny Dietrich leading the list with 3 wins and his the current defending champion and Point Leader for the series. Anthony Macri who won both the World of Outlaw race and the most recent sprint car show on Wednesday August 27 sits just 170 points behind Danny with three races left to go in the season.

ADAMS & SON HVAC LATE MODELS
The Limited Late Models in 2025 has been the whos, whos of the divisions as 6 different drivers have won races out nine shows with non- point regular Lane Snook taking the checkered flag in three of the shows. Mr consistency Scott Palmer leads the division with a 260 points lead over Travis Mease but more importantly Scott is looking for his first track title at the BAPS Motor Speedway as he has two races left.

SUPERIOR HOMES EXTREME STOCKS
The most competitive class at BAPS Motor Speedway is the Superior Homes Extreme Stocks, So far in 2025 there has been 8 different winners out of 10 races and Tyler Miller and non point regular Alex Updegraff lead the division with two wins each. Patrick McClane who has led the points for most of the season and has kept it a 2 person horse race with Doug Hoffman holds just 60 points coming into the final 2 races.

602 CRATE SPORTSMAN
The father & son duo have both been the class of the field during the 602 crate sportsman action in 2025. Jess Lieby holds just a 100 point lead over his Father John Lieby SR heading into Championship night on Saturday October 11. Not only can Jesse Claim his first track title at BAPS Motor Speedway but a win on the same night would cap off the season with the biggest paying race of the year for them.

RACING FOR OUTREACH WINGLESS SPORTSMAN
Racing for outreach super sportsman 5 race series concludes on Saturday October 25 and there is no doubt it will be a barn burner. Steve Wilbur holds a 35 point advantage over Cliff Brian Jr but with the event being a double points race for the Britton Finkenbinder Memorial almost 10 + drivers mathematically could have a shot at claiming the championship. Also a brand new twist from the start of the season for the $2000 point fund will see 8 drivers that run all of the races at BAPS will be drawn and will receive $250 dollars of the point fund. Currently 10 drivers are eligible for the point fund drawing heading into the race on Saturday October 25.

Super Sportsman- Track Champion Trophy Plus Top 10 in points fund
410 Sprint Cars- Track Champion Trophy Plus Top 10 in points fund
Late Models- Track Champion Trophy Plus Top 5 in points fund
Extreme Stocks- Track Champion Trophy Plus Top 5 in points fund
602 Crate Sportsman- Track Champion Trophy
Wingless Super Sportsman- Track Champion Trophy plus 8 drivers that run all of the races at BAPS will be drawn and will receive $250 dollars each of the point fund.
