BAPS Motor Speedway
BAPS announces $30,000 donated to the local community.
York Haven:
BAPS Motor Speedway continues to lead the way with their local community with over $30,000 donated for various causes and events over the past four years alone.
Each year the speedway's main focus has been Newberry Elementary where local businesses have banded together to put on the spring annual “Racing into Reading program” event at the school and have also partnered with Fusion Financial Group and Mike Gallagher donate over 350 book bags with school supplies in the fall every year.
“We are very fortunate to have great partners and businesses that share the same passion and vision that we have for our community” “We have a chance to make a difference in our schools, community and we encourage everyone to help make this effort possible.

One of the major events that have started to take off with the speedway has been the “free community nights” that have been happening at both BAPS Motor Speedway and Mcgrewbid Motoplex over the past couple of years. These events have seen a huge turnout from local residents and more importantly a fundraiser tool that has raised almost $4,000 alone this year for the local fire Department.
Other Events include the Annual Lantern Festival that takes place in September each year to honor various local memorials as well as September 11 has continually donated $2,000 each year to the local fire department on top of the free community nights.
