2026 Extreme Stock Preview:
YORK HAVEN: BAPS Motor Speedway Extreme Stock division did not disappoint this past season as the Extreme stocks had 41 different drivers attempt at least one race with 8 different drivers grabbing the checkered flags and ending up in victory lane. Fans can expect more races for the division in 2026 and It will be safe to say that the action will certainly heat up when we take the green flag on Saturday March 21, 2026, with their very first race.
Doug Hoffman:
The Driver from Newville Pennsylvania finished 2024 14th in the final point standings and made high expectations for the 2025 racing season. Man was he right…. Not only did Doug Hoffman post a huge turnaround from going 14th in the final standings to posting a career best 2nd in the final standings but he recorded 8 top 5 finishes and 10 top 10 finishes in eleven races. This driver not only will be the favorite to compete for the track title but look for the 27 teams to visit victory lane multiple times in 2026.
Tyler Miller:
The former Classic Car series driver now turned extreme Stock driver of the number 79x came into the 2025 racing season with the thought process of getting laps and becoming faster, as the season went on the driver from Newville posted a career best 3rd in the final standings, picked up two feature wins, seven top 5 finishes and 9 top 10 finishes. Look for this driver to be a contender in 2026.
Presley Almoney:
In her first full season behind the wheel of the Stauffer Motorsports number 24 car, Presley posted 1 top 5 finish and seven top 10 finishes in 10 races in 2025. Presley’s consistent approach awarded her 7th in the final point standings but her biggest accomplishment was starting 23rd in the Extreme Stock 50 race and charging 14 positions to finish 9th. If she can start the season off the way she ended, look for her to move up in the standings and knock on the door of her first career win.
Brian Walls:
The street stock ace turned extreme stock driver found him ended up with similar results and that's running up front and winning races. Brian had a late start to the 2025 season as they built a brand-new race car and motor to compete in the division and boy were they fast. The walls racing team debuted in August and ran a total of 4 races which turned out to be 2 wins and three top 4 finishes and four top 10 finishes in 4 races and also ended the season winning the Extreme Stock 50 at BAPS Motor Speedway. If this team decides to start the season at the beginning of the year, look for them to contend for the championship and more wins.
Alex Updegraff:
The 4-time track champion ran a limited schedule during the 2025 racing season and was more of a pick and choose which saw him visit victory lane twice and record 5 top 5 finishes and 5 top 10 finishes to end up the season 10th in the final point standings. Look for Alex and the number 1 car to follow a similar schedule in 2026.
