SUPER SPORTSMAN EXTRA AWARDS IN 2026.
YORK HAVEN: BAPS Motor Speedway is pleased to announce that we have partnered with several businesses to provide the following awards for the Super Sportsman division in 2026.
“We are very appreciative of these businesses that are willing to step up and participate with the Super Sportsman division this year” said General Manager Kolten Gouse. “Any time you can provide extra incentives for the teams, it is a good thing, and again, we can’t thank these guys enough for supporting the Super Sportsman.”
Season Long Rookie of the Year Presented by Keystone Investments:
-In 2026, the Super Sportsman Rookie of the Year will be awarded $500 thanks to Keystone Investments.
Season Long Hard Charger Presented by Midas of Carlisle:
-The driver who passes the most cars out of all of the Super Sportsman races in 2026 will be awarded $500.
Season Long Most Heat Race Winner Presented by McConnell’s Excavating:
-The Driver that captures the most checkered flags during heat-race competition in the Super Sportsman division in 2026 will be awarded $500.
Crew Chief of the Year Award:
-The crew chief from the team that captures the 2026 season track championship will be names Crew Chief of the Year and will go home with a Tool Box with Tools at the end of the season.
In addition to the season long awards, BAPS Motor Speedway will once again host two Super Sportsman Non-Winners races during the 2026 season. These races were introduced last season for drivers who have never won a Winged Super Sportsman race in their career.
These events were well received by drivers and fans. The non-winner’s races will take place Saturday, April 11th and Saturday, June 20th.
