New Events Highlight 2026 Schedule
YORK HAVEN, Pa.: Diversity for fans of all ages and bringing in new customers has always been an important part of the BAPS Motor Speedway schedule.
This year is no different. The York Haven, Pa., facility has rolled out a robust 37-race schedule filled with traditional shows, special events featuring national series, and non-racing happenings that appeal to the community.
The season kicks off with the Bob Conley Season Opener presented by Tyson Fence on March 7th. It will feature the Super Sportsman, 358 Late Models, Legend Cars and a practice session for all divisions.
There will be 20 appearances by the Super Sportsman division, the speedway’s traditional headliner. The 410 Sprint Cars will be on the docket 11 times, which includes J&S Classics Pennsylvania Speedweek on June 28th and the Bricker’s Bash World of Outlaws event on July 29th.
The World of Outlaws won’t be the only national series in the fold this season. On April 25th, the popular Lucas Oil Late Model Series will invade the speedway for the first time, with drivers battling for a $25,000 payday.
But racing isn’t the only thing highlighting the schedule. A carnival will be run in conjunction with racing events from May 7th to the 10th, and Lantern Fest will return to BAPS Motor Speedway on September 12th.
“We understand that racetracks need to be multi-purpose facilities to thrive,” BAPS Motor Speedway General Manager Kolten Gouse said. “Racing is still our bread and butter, but we are working hard to bring new and different forms of entertainment into the speedway in hopes of bringing the community closer.
“Diversity is also a key for us. It’s important for us to give people different divisions and as much variety as possible to keep things fresh for fans. It also helps us bring in new customers and, hopefully, expose them to the facility and good racing at BAPS Motor Speedway.”
Along with variety, the management team has come up with a couple of novelty events to intrigue fans. The speedway will host the $5 Eagle Air Aviation Keystone Nationals featuring the 410 Sprint Cars on Sunday June 7 and then go old school on July 25th in which the features have to be done by 9 p.m. or fans will receive a voucher for a free ticket to the next weekly event.
“We are always looking to try something new,” Gouse said. “Like so many of the events on our schedule, we want to give the fans something different and entice them to come to BAPS Motor Speedway.
“We think this year’s schedule checks all of the boxes. It might be the best schedule we have put out since we took over the speedway, and we are looking forward to kicking off the 2026 season.”
