Wagaman Jr Wins BAPS Thriller on Jeff Rohrbaugh Appreciation Night
Troy Wagaman Jr. captured the victory in the Jeff Rohrbaugh Appreciation Race after an exciting 30-lap feature that kept fans on the edge of their seats. After extensive track work during intermission, it created intense competition and slide job city, with Wagaman putting together a strong late-race charge to secure the win.
The key moment came in the closing laps as Wagaman and Freddie Rahmer battled fiercely for the top spot. With just 8 laps to go, Wagaman executed a perfectly timed slide job to take control of the lead, completing a thrilling pass that ultimately sealed the outcome. From there, he maintained his momentum and held off any challenges to take the checkered flag.
Behind him, Chase Dietz delivered a solid performance to finish third, followed by Danny Dietrich in fourth and Anthony Macri rounding out the top five.
Cody Fletcher put on a dominant performance in the 358 Sprint Car feature, starting from the pole and leading every lap an route to victory. Fletcher showed complete control throughout the race, never relinquishing the top spot and setting the tone from the drop of the green flag in the opening event of the Mickley’s Orchard Racing for Outreach Awareness program.
Behind him, Derek Locke secured a strong second-place finish, followed by Eli Tuckey in third. Cole Young crossed the line in fourth, with Adam Carberry rounding out the top five.
