$25,000 LUCAS OIL LATE MODEL RACE AT BAPS MOTOR SPEEDWAY!

The thunder of dirt late models is set to reach a new level in 2026 as the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series makes its highly anticipated debut at BAPS Motor Speedway. Known for hosting some of the most competitive regional racing in Pennsylvania, the speedway will now welcome one of the premier national touring series in dirt track racing. This first-ever appearance marks a major milestone for both the track and its loyal fanbase, who have long hoped to see the country’s best late model drivers compete on their home clay during the Superior Homes York County Nationals Presented by Pancho’s Racing Products on Saturday April 25.

Fans can expect a stacked field of elite drivers, including national champions and rising stars, all battling wheel-to-wheel on the tight, challenging oval for a top prize of $25,000! The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is famous for its high-powered machines, dramatic slide jobs, and edge-of-your-seat finishes, and its arrival at BAPS is expected to deliver exactly that. Track officials have expressed excitement about showcasing the facility on a national stage, while teams are eager to tackle a new surface that could level the playing field and produce unpredictable results.

The 2026 event is already shaping up to be one of the biggest races in BAPS Motor Speedway history, drawing fans from across the Mid-Atlantic and beyond. A powerhouse lineup of dirt late model talent is set to headline the action as Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series invades BAPS Motor Speedway. Among the top contenders, Hudson O’Neal brings his aggressive, high-speed style, while Ricky Thornton Jr. enters as one of the most consistent and versatile racers on tour. Devin Moran adds even more firepower with his smooth driving approach and knack for finding speed on challenging surfaces, making this trio a serious threat when the green flag drops.

Also looking to make a statement is Cory Lawler, eager to take on the sport’s elite and prove he can contend on a national stage. With BAPS’ tight corners and demanding layout, every lap will test driver skill, patience, and race craft. Fans can expect intense side-by-side battles, daring slide jobs, and no shortage of drama as these drivers push their machines to the limit in what promises to be an unforgettable night of racing.

The William Penn Performance Glass Late Models and Superior Homes Extreme Stocks will join the program as well on Saturday April 25.

Ticket Information: $45 Adults, $35 Seniors, $20 Students, Kids 12 & Under Free, $50 Pit Pass. Infield Car Passes can be purchased for $30 (with GA or Pit Purchase)
