14,000 Egg Hunt reaches top level in York County over the weekend.

The fastest growing Easter egg hunt in York County reached a major milestone this year at BAPS Motor Speedway, featuring an incredible 14,000 eggs scattered across the grounds. Families poured in to take part in the annual tradition, which continues to expand year after year. What started as a small community gathering nearly 8 years ago has quickly become one of the most anticipated springtime events locally in York County.

Children were divided into three age groups (ages 5 & under, ages 6-9 and ages 10-12) ensuring a fair and exciting experience for everyone involved. Each group eagerly lined up, baskets in hand, before racing across the field in search of brightly colored eggs. Laughter and excitement filled the air as kids of all ages joined in the fun.

Inside the eggs were a wide variety of treats, including chocolate, candy, and even money. Some lucky participants discovered special prize eggs that contained gift cards, easter gift baskets and large Easter bunnies, adding an extra level of excitement to the hunt. These surprise rewards kept kids motivated and thrilled throughout the event.

The continued growth of the event highlights its popularity within the community. With more eggs, more prizes, and more families attending each year, the Easter egg hunt has become a staple celebration that brings people together and creates lasting memories for everyone involved.

With the continued success of the event, BAPS Motor Speedway has already set its sights on an even bigger goal — reaching 20,000 eggs for the 2027 Easter egg hunt. Planning is already underway as organizers look to expand the experience even further, building off the momentum and support from this year’s record turnout.

“Donna Fasick is the heart and soul of this event. Her dedication and passion are what make this Easter egg hunt possible every year, and without her leadership, it simply wouldn't happen.” Said Speedway Officials

The speedway would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers, local businesses, and everyone who contributed to this year’s Easter egg hunt. From donations to helping hands, the support made it all possible and created a memorable day for the kids in the community.
